free bat image pattern
Hint the bat symbol onto the non-shiny side of a chunk of freezer paper, and lower out the inside to make your pattern.
Place the stencil, shiny-aspect-down, on the front of the black shirt. Utilizing a hot, dry iron, press the stencil onto the shirt. Be sure that the entire edges are sealed.
Dab some pink fabric paint on prime of the stencil. Don’t use a lot paint, and take a look at to not shove it underneath the stencil. The first coat won’t show up very properly. Let it dry to the contact and repeat with a number of coats till you get the desired coverage.
Let the paint dry to the touch and peel off the freezer paper stencil. Men’s The Last Jedi Cotton Long Sleeve Tee Shirt Ta da! After it completely dries, follow the instructions on your paint to heat set it. This often entails ironing it or tossing it in the dryer.
Lower 4 inches off the underside of the women’s shirt. You can be left with a band of fabric that you’ll make into a ruffle for the bottom of the Batgirl shirt.
Set the stitch size in your machine to be longer (a four on my machine). When you’ve got a strolling presser foot, now is an efficient time to use it. Since the fabric is stretchy, the walking foot, helps la petite rey t shirt yarn feed it by way of. Sew a line 1/2 inch away from the un-hemmed side of the band you lower off. Do not lock your stitch initially or finish and do not sew back over your stitching if you come again around. Sew one other line about 1/four inch away from the sting.
Now take the underside threads which might be hanging out and pull them both to make the fabric ruffle.
Keep going until you’ve gotten ruffled your complete band.
Spread the ruffle again out to make it the correct dimension for the bottom of the black shirt. Turn the black shirt inside out and pin the ruffle on like so.
Using black thread, sew the ruffle to the bottom of the shirt, removing the pins as you go.
Flip the shirt right-side-out, and it’s completed. Significantly, SO cute! I feel I would just want to do that with some more of the girls’ shirts.
My little girly woman Batgirl!
